2021 recipient of the Lisa York Outstanding Volunteer Award by NC REALTORS®

Christina Asbury, a Realtor in the Sneads Ferry office of Coldwell Banker Sea Coast Advantage, was recently presented the Lisa York Outstanding Volunteer award by the NC REALTORS® Association during their 2022 Vision Quest/Winter Leadership meetings, which were held at the Grandover Resort in Greensboro, NC in January. This award was created by NC REALTORS® PAC in 2017 to recognize a Realtor member for hard work and extensive effort to assist the NC REALTORS® PAC. They have continued presenting this award every year to showcase a volunteer who has gone above and beyond.

“I am very honored to receive this award,” said Asbury. “Realtors are more involved in their local communities than most people are aware of, quietly monitoring legislative issues to protect the real estate industry, current and future homeowners, the real estate-based economy and private property rights. I'm proud of the work NC Realtors does across our great state, and privileged to work with the numerous other volunteers who made my receiving this award possible in 2021. To have hard work and efforts recognized is both exciting and humbling.”

Asbury is active in industry organizations locally, regionally and nationally. She is a past president of both the Jacksonville Board of REALTORS® & Topsail Island Association of REALTORS® and a past president and treasurer of the Carolinas chapter of the REALTORS® Land Institute. Asbury also serves on various committees for the National Association of REALTORS® and the REALTORS® Land Institute.

In addition to residential real estate in coastal NC, Asbury is an Accredited Land Consultant (ALC) that specializes in land sales, including farms, ranches, agricultural, recreational and timber properties. She strives to provide her clients with excellent service and attention to detail. “I love the intricacies of real estate and helping my clients achieve their goals,” she added. “Helping them see a vision come to life, and then fulfill their dreams is very rewarding.”
