Real estate season is in full swing and things are moving FAST! With everyone in such a hurry, it’s important to catch buyers’ eyes, and get them in the front door so they can fall in love with your home. if prospective buyers don’t like what they see when they drive by, they might not even bother to see what’s inside. Selling a home requires much more than setting a price and putting up a yard sign. That’s why your Coldwell Banker Sea Coast Advantage agent will likely have some suggestions for how you can spruce up your curb appeal to get every showing off on the right foot. If you’re preparing to sell your home, the following suggestions might just help get it SOLD! Listen to your REALTOR®!It’s easy to miss the subtle things that you look at every single day. Your agent knows how buyers think, and is looking at your home with fresh eyes, so make sure you take their curb appeal recommendations to heart! Buy the NumbersDingy, rusty, and off-kilter numbers say “shabby” and “unkempt” to your buyers. Make your address sing with brand-new, bright and shiny house numbers. Same goes for your mailbox! Act Like a BuyerGet in your car and drive by slowly, take in what you see. Then park on the street out front and walk up. What would you think about if you were considering buying this home? For better or worse, what catches your eye? Pressure WashRenting a pressure washer for the day is a cost-effective way to make a major impact on your curb appeal—your siding, deck, driveway, and walkways will all look much more appealing when they’re shining like brand-new. Look UPWe look at our homes every day, so we tend to go a little blind to general wear and tear, especially above our eye line. Is your roof missing shingles? Does it need a good cleaning? You might not have noticed, but buyers will. A Splash of ColorHappy, healthy flowers and well-groomed flowerbeds make a great impression, giving your home a lively, verdant touch. A few inexpensive annuals in containers and among your shrubbery will really make your curb appeal pop! Edge UpJust mowing the lawn isn’t enough. Make sure the edges of your walkways and flower beds look nice and neat. A carefully-maintained yard gives the impression that the home is equally well cared-for. Your Front DoorScuffed, chipped, and dingy front doors create a shabby first impression. It’s amazing how much a simple coat of paint on the door and frame can make the whole home look more inviting. Same goes for your shutters. Clean SweepCheck for cobwebs around your front-porch lighting fixtures. Arachnids’ favorite snacks are attracted to the lights, so it’s a great place for them to set up shop. While you’ve got the broom out, make sure there’s no dirt or leaf litter hiding in the corners of your porch either. Wash Windows & ScreensThe eyes are the window to the soul, and your windows are the eyes into your home! The celebration began in 1885, on the 108th anniversary of the Flag Resolution passed by the Second Continental Congress in 1777. However, the official congressional legislation designating June 14 as Flag Day was signed into law in 1949 by US President Harry Truman. This year you can explore one of Wilmington’s most visited and iconic destinations, the Battleship North Carolina, docked just across the Cape Fear River from historic, downtown Wilmington, and take home a special Flag-Day keepsake. From 10am to 2pm, American Legion Post 10 Honor Guard volunteers will assist visitors in hoisting and folding their own flag aboard the Battleship! Participants will be mailed a certificate of authenticity after the event. Visitors may bring their own flag, or purchase one at the Ship’s Store, proceeds from which benefit the upkeep and promotion of the Battleship and its many educational exhibits. A National Historic Landmark, authentically restored to her World War II glory, The Battleship North Carolina Memorial was opened to the public in 1961. The ship serves to honor “the 11,000 North Carolinians of all branches of the service who gave their lives in World War II.”Happy Flag Day!

CONGRATULATIONS Top Agents and Teams - April 2019

April 2019TOP PRODUCERS Wilmington OfficeTop Listing Agent: Jennifer FarmerTop Selling Agent: Josie GodwinTop Listing Team (2-4 agents): Gruner ResidentialTop Selling Team (2-4 agents): Michelle Gurrera & AssociatesTop Listing Team (5+ agents): The Carolinas Finest, Jessica Edwards & AssociatesTop Selling Team (5+ agents): Team Gale Carolina Beach OfficeTop Listing Agent: Sherri PridgenTop Selling Agent: Alison KellerTop Listing & Selling Team (2-4 agents): Cori McQueen & Associates Top Listing & Selling Team (5+ agents): Justin Donaton Team Brunswick OfficesTop Listing Agent: Gail LendvoyiTop Selling Agent: Mary Ann McCarthyTop Listing & Selling Team (2-4 agents): Ginger Harper Real Estate GroupTop Listing & Selling Team (5+ agents): Cronick & Associates Jacksonville OfficeTop Listing & Selling Agent: Jenna MortonTop Listing & Selling Team (2-4 agents): 40 SailsTop Listing & Selling Team (5+ agents): Castro Real Estate Team Leland OfficeTop Listing & Selling Agent: James DiazTop Listing & Selling Team (5+ agents): Shawn Horton – Trusst Marketing Group Onlsow/Pender OfficesTop Listing Agent: Lester ChumleyTop Selling Agent: Kelly WigginsTop Listing & Selling Team (2-4 agents): The Fortunato TeamTop Listing Team (5+ agents): North Carolina Home GroupTop Selling Team (5+ agents): Lori Smith Hometown Team South Brunswick OfficesTop Listing Agent: Stephanie DeeseTop Selling Agent: Denise YoungTop Listing Team (2-4 agents): Barbara Andrews TeamTop Selling Team (2-4 agents): Frances Warner Real Estate Group Midtown OfficeTop Listing Agent: Rushell BongiornoTop Selling Agent: Kelly SloopTop Listing Team (2-4 agents): The Wilson Team Top Selling Team (2-4 agents): Costin Real Estate Group Top Listing & Selling Team (5+ agents): Domin & Schwartz Real Estate Group Overall Top ProducersCastro Real Estate TeamFrances Warner Real Estate GroupTerri Alphin Smith & Co.Michelle Gurrera & AssociatesTeam Gale40 SailsDomin & Schwartz Real Estate GroupShane Register Real Estate GroupJustin Donaton TeamGruner Residential
